been supplying fresh produce to local food banks and educating the
public about food security since the 1990s.

Pandemic Food Security for Healthy Community Living
Urban Bounty (formerly Richmond Food Security Society) is a not-for-profit society that was
founded in 2002. In addition to shaping food policy development for
the municipality, they also aim to educate the
general public about local agriculture, as well as explore health,
sustainability, and social justice issues in relation to food.
